Getting started

Perhaps, it is rather inaccurate to say that I am just getting started since I have been running a micro-isv for over 3 years now. It's been a good experience and it has made me older (obviously!) and a little wiser.

Our (my marketing partner and I) first product, Facer Launcher, was a huge success. But we were young, impatient and dangerously inexperience. We could probably use a little more advice from a more seasoned isv'er. I had some ideals and ideas that I just have to try it for myself. At the end, it was all worth it. Yes, we lose tons of money in the process, the worse being the whole hiring/get-an-office which I will write about later.

Nonetheless, it is now time to move on. I had some time to reflect on where things went wrong and what I could have done better. I'll be writing on topics that are close to my heart, software development and business.
